Remembering Cory Monteith
Glee follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the school's once top-flight, but now moribund Glee Club and inspire a group of talented but unfocused performers to make it to, and win, the biggest competition of them all: Nationals. In his way is not just the indifferent principal, but also the sponsors of the cheer-leading and football groups both of whom see his efforts as detracting from their own. In addition to the regular cast, GLEE has featured guest appearances by a wide range of talented performers, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Carol Burnett, John Stamos, Britney Spears, Kristen Chenoweth, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Molly Shannon, Olivia Newton-John and Neil Patrick Harris, who won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on the show.
